I have been producing artwork, including photographs, since I childhood. I can't remember a time when I wasn't producing at least doodles constantly, and I'm still doing it.

The last few years I have focused on landscapes in both photography and artwork, and increasingly on digital photomanipulation in the art. I'm still working with pen, pencil and paper whenever and where ever I am.

Though self-taught as an artist, I have a B.S. in Environmental & Systematics Biology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California. I have lived around the United States and traveled and worked around North America from the Mexican/Guatemalan border to Canada, as well as a few other places around the globe. I am almost a California native, having moved here at 8 months of age. I grew up and currently live and teach in the San Francisco Bay Area.
