Not pacific at all, the ocean is much more active than the Atlantic ocean. Occurs west of the Americas, and east of the Orient and Indian Ocean. It is the largest ocean, and is surrounded by the "Ring of Fire," a volcanically active area that surrounds the large tectonic plate upon which most of the pacific ocean sits.
