Not just the country of Indonesia, the area is made up of islands, both volcanic and coraline in origin. There are several nations in the
area, including Indonesia, which is, in global surface area, the largest country
in the world - but over 90% of its territory is open ocean. There are lots of nifty animals and
plants in the area, including the Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis ), the largest lizard in the world, and Raffelsia, the plant with the larges flower in the world.
