He married twice. He married Rebecca Woods in Columbiana County, Ohio, 18 October 1849. Rebecca was born in Middleton, Columbiana County, Ohio 6 May 1827. Rebecca was the daughter of Samuel Woods and Esther Adamson. Rebecca died about 1871. He married Mary A Endley in Ohio, about 18 January 1873.
