great place to overlook the San Pablo Reservoir watershed.
The Nimitz trail that winds along the eastern side of the hill also has great views of San Francisco Bay (and of MLK Regional Shoreline in Oakland). This side is more forested than the east side. There's also an EBMUD trail (permit required) along the eastern slope through brush and grassland. |
