Geology Stuff

  • Mineral Galleries may be a commercial operation, but there's really super cool stuff to look at. Including great information on minerals and gems, and photos of most of them
  • The Rockhound's Information Page is just that, lots of that, set up by members of the Rockhounds Mailing List
  • The Smithsonian Gem and Mineral Collection on-line site includes images of mineral specimens and jewelry
  • U. S. Geological Survey site has information about their programs and maps
  • Bob's (Keller) Rock Shop is a great place to hang out if you're a rockhound, like me. There are lots of images, information and links. It's not a commercial enterprise, just the name of his page. It's your one-stop-shopping place for information about rocks, minerals, gems and geology. I like his name, too.
