• The Burgess Shale is one of the most complete and well preserved invertebrate faunas anywhere. It's mid Cambrian, and VERY interesting. Check out this site if you have an interest, it's pretty good and includes photos and information
• Florida Museum of Natural History Vertebrate Paleontology Databases

• Daily Images of the Sun and other information on Solar studies
• The Earth and Moon Viewer is nifty - you can view both the earth and the moon as they appear right now
• Today at NASA - what is happening at the U.S. Space Agency
• University of California at Santa Barbara Astrophysics Project including a link to their robot telescope, interactive astrophysics and images
• Bradford University, England, robotic telescope is a really cool site

• Mineral Galleries may be a commercial operation, but there's really super cool stuff to look at. Including great information on minerals and gems, and photos of most of them
• The Rockhound's Information Page is just that, lots of that, set up by members of the Rockhounds Mailing List
• The Smithsonian Gem and Mineral Collection on-line site includes images of mineral specimens and jewelry
• U. S. Geological Survey site has information about their programs and maps
• Bob's (Keller) Rock Shop is a great place to hang out if you're a rockhound, like me. There are lots of images, information and links. It's not a commercial enterprise, just the name of his page. It's your one-stop-shopping place for information about rocks, minerals, gems and geology. I like his name, too.
